i just wanted to send you a note and thank you for your excellent advice.Last September i was entered into my first barbecue competition.I heard there was a place in Raleigh where you could try different rubs and sauces before you bought them called Grillbillies. What a money saver!  I made the trek and was greeted by a nice young lady who gave me a crash course on layering rubs. I was skeptical. She seemed to know what she was talking about so I decided to give it a try. Much to my surprise, the first barbecue competition I ever entered resulted in a third place in pulled pork and a first place in ribs. Too bad we were running so far behind we never had a chance to try the food ourselves. I am on the way back today to get more…for the family this time.   Thank you, I am now a customer for life.

"I’m really enjoying my new SQ36. I received it on a Friday afternoon, seasoned it that night and by Saturday evening I was dining on what were easily the best baby backs I’ve ever made. I was able to dial in the temp of the grill to 225 degrees and hold it there for 5 hours with very little effort. The result was tender, juicy ribs with a nice bark on the outside. The design, materials and craftsmanship of the grill are all first rate. With a little love and kindness, I can easily see this thing lasting a couple of decades. I also wanted to thank you for your patience and guidance while I was making up my mind between the SQ and the PR Series.
